Background:
*-This combination was used for advertisement
– as can be seen in the photos. It has the
sidecar gearset in the final drive, making 45 MPH
about top speed. (I didn’t want to drive it any faster anyway)
*- It has been set up with a 12V total loss battery in the
sidecar trunk to handle the “tools of the trade” such as
air horns, spot lights & extra tail/brake light.
*- The 6V system of the bike triggers 12V relays, which activate
the accessories with no strain on the bike’s charging system.
Care was taken to ensure the bike could be returned to stock
configuration upon deletion of the 12V side.
*- Improvements include the “Cobra” sidecar handle
spare wheel & new sidecar windshield.
