Background:
*- This bike is the essence of “Barn Find”. It was restored in Washington,
ridden to the Eugene area, and lodged in a barn where it sat
for at least the next 15 years until the owner died in 2020,
leaving it to his brother to handle.
*- Brother brought it to me to prepare it for sale and I bought it,
cleaned it up. . . . . and it fired up on the first kick.
*- As for the “Who Done It”, the information on who restored
the motorcycle has been lost to history, but tell-tale notes
made on the rocker arms and that new speedometer
verify the restoration enough for me and the year
of mfg does add to the charm, since 1960
was the first year of mfg for the R69S.
